  The Rhode Island Sustainability Coalition is a working group of state agencies, non-profit organizations, schools, businesses, and community members working to create a sustainable Rhode Island by bringing the best sustainability practices from around the world to this region. Formed in September of 1999, the coalition acts as a clearinghouse with information on sustainability initiatives from all around the world being collected and studied.
