ABOUT THE SITE
Davidson College is located 19 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina in the town of Davidson. Davidson is a town in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, lying right along the southern edge of the Iredell and Mecklenburg County line.
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
It is expected that attendees will arrive/check-in on Sunday between 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm. Anyone arriving after the GRC office closes at 9:00 pm on Sunday must make alternative housing arrangements.
THE MEETING ROOM AND POSTER AREA
Science Sessions are held in the air-conditioned Tyler-Talman Hall in the Sloan Music Building.

Poster Sessions and Socials are held in the air-conditioned Chambers Gallery located in the Chamber Building.
ON-SITE HOUSING / FACILITIES
GRC participants are housed in air-conditioned residence halls.
DINING AREA / MEALS
All Meals will be served in the air-conditioned Vail Commons dining room. Vegetarian entrees are available at all meals and kosher meals are available only if the request is made in advance of the meeting.
INTERNET, PHONE AND COMPUTER ACCESS
All the facilities that GRC will use have wireless connections. The campus is embarking on a plan to have the entire campus, indoors and out, on wireless connection over the next two years.
HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY
The site is fully handicapped accessible.
ON-SITE RECREATION
Davidson has wonderful cross-country trials, swimming facilities, tennis courts, a fitness center and even a three-hole golf course. They also have a 100-acre Lake Campus facility about five miles from campus where attendees can enjoy swimming, boating, hiking and other outdoor activities.
OTHER INFORMATION
Animals are not permitted on site.

All GRC facilities are smoke free.
