ABOUT THE SITE
Magdalen College is located in the High Street, Oxford, a 15-minute walk from the City Centre and a 5-minute walk from the Queens’ Lane stop for coaches from London and the Airports. The campus has some of the most hauntingly beautiful buildings of Oxford and sits amid a hundred acres of woodlands, deerpark, riverside walks, and lawns.
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
The Porter’s Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. When the outer door is locked, ring the bell to enter. If you plan to arrive at Magdalen College prior to Sunday, please contact the Home Bursar's Assistant, Catherine Hughes, to make arrangements for your stay ONLY. All other inquires should be sent to the GRC office.
THE MEETING ROOM AND POSTER AREA
The lectures are held in Grove Auditorium, which is an air-conditioned, tiered lecture theatre.

Poster Sessions are held in The New Buildings Colonnade.
ON-SITE HOUSING / FACILITIES
All bedrooms have wash hand basins. Bathrooms or shower rooms and toilets are located within the same building, but sometimes on different floors as the bedrooms. Each room has a mini refrigerator, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
DINING AREA / MEALS
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are taken self-service in the Hall. On Thursday night, a formal three-course dinner will be served in the Hall.
INTERNET, PHONE AND COMPUTER ACCESS
A computer room with 3 PCs and a printer is available on campus. In addition, all bedrooms have an Ethernet socket for network Internet access. An Ethernet lead is required, and the GRC Office will have a limited supply of Ethernet cables. There are also a number of Internet Cafes near the College.
HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY
Magdalen College is handicapped accessible.
ON-SITE RECREATION
There is a game room at the site with a billiard table and video games. Conferees may request to use the College tennis grass courts (the College cannot supply racquets for rent). There is a one-mile walk around the water meadow and deerpark.
OTHER INFORMATION
Magdalen College does not allow children under 16 as guests at the GRC meetings.

Animals are not allowed at the GRC site.

Kosher meals and Halal meals are not available at Magdalen College.
