ABOUT THE SITE
The village of Les Diablerets is situated about 70 miles (120km) east of Geneva, in the Alps of the Canton of Vaud at the eastern end of Lake Geneva. The altitude of 1150m is ideal for September when usually the nights are cool and you can enjoy pleasantly warm days. However, in the mountains the weather conditions may temporarily deteriorate (rain, cooler) so be sure to bring some warm clothing. The village is situated in the end of a valley, at the foot of the 3200m mountain/glacier also called Les Diablerets. Les Diablerets is a small village made out of chalet style buildings and is very nice without being a fancy place. It has a number of shops, restaurants, bars and there are ample opportunities for sport and hiking.
