The Ventura Beach Marriott is located in Ventura, California just 70 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. The Ventura Beach Marriott is located only two miles from downtown Ventura, California and adjacent to the San Buenaventura State Park which offers a hiking/bike path, miles of spacious beaches, and access to the historic Ventura Beach Pier. It is expected that attendees will arrive/check-in for the Gordon Research Conferences on Sunday between 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm and for the Gordon Research Seminars on Saturday between 2:00 pm & 3:00 pm. The first science session for the Gordon Research Seminars begins on Saturday at 3:00 pm so please give yourself enough time to check in and get to the session on time.

Science sessions are held in Salon 2 on the mezzanine floor of the hotel.

Poster sessions and socials are held in Salon 3 on the mezzanine level of the hotel.

All meals will be served in the air-conditioned Atrium Mezzanine of the hotel. Vegetarian selections are provided at all meals. Kosher meals (with two week advance notice) are available at the site.

Wireless Internet is available in the lobby and restaurant as a complimentary service. High-speed Internet access is available in guest rooms at a reduced rate for GRC attendees of $5.00 per day. To use these services, access codes must be purchased from the hotel front desk.

The Marriott’s Business Center is available 24 hours a day and includes computers with complimentary Internet access. A valid room key is required to enter the Business Center.
