Article V:
Administration
SECTION 1. COUNCIL
The legislative body of the CONFERENCES shall be a Council which shall include in its membership all Trustees, elected members of the Selection and Scheduling Committee, Sponsor Representatives, Representatives of conferences and Members-at-Large elected as provided in the Bylaws, with the Director serving as executive secretary. The Council and the Council members shall also make such recommendations and provide such advice and counsel as is required under the Bylaws.
SECTION 2. BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The management of the affairs of the CONFERENCES shall be vested in a Board of Trustees the members of which shall be elected as provided in the Bylaws. In addition, the executive officer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, or such officer's delegate, shall serve as a Trustee.
SECTION 3. CONFERENCE ORGANIZATIONS
Each conference shall have a conference organization for internal administrative and technical purposes, to be organized in a manner acceptable to its membership and the Board of Trustees and subject to the requirements of Article IV, Section 2.
