Bylaw X:
Financial Regulations
SECTION 1. CONFERENCE MEMBERSHIP FEE
All conference members shall pay the CONFERENCES, through the Director, a membership fee which shall be established by the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 2. NON-RESIDENT FEE
Conference members in attendance at the meetings, but not residing in the housing provided by the meeting host organization, may be required to pay an additional non-resident membership fee as determined by the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 3. HOUSING COSTS
The meeting host organizations shall provide American Plan housing at a cost acceptable to the Board of Trustees, such costs being payable by the members, through the Director to the meeting host organization.
SECTION 4. TOTAL SUM FOR GRANTS-IN-AID
The Director shall, in the Director's discretion, pay grants-in-aid to conference members in amounts requested by the conference Chair pursuant to Section 3 of Bylaw IX, provided that (i) such amounts are paid from a designated assistance fund; (ii) the total of such amounts for each conference does not exceed the sum appropriated for each meeting of each conference by the Board of Trustees at its preceding fall meeting; (iii) the total of all such amounts does not exceed the amount of the Special Fund set by the Board of Trustees plus other funds obtained by the CONFERENCES for the support of that conference; (iv) no payment to any conference member shall exceed the total of all reasonable expenses incurred by such member to travel to and from and attendance at a conference; and (v) such grants-in-aid are consistent with the policies of the CONFERENCES.
SECTION 5. OUTSIDE FUNDS FOR CONFERENCE SUPPORT
All funds contributed or otherwise made available for support of one or more conferences shall be paid to and managed by the CONFERENCES. Solicitation for such funds, whether by the Conference Chair or others, shall be allowed only in accordance with procedures establishedby the CONFERENCES.
