Bylaw III:
Conference Membership
SECTION 1. ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP
Individual scientists may be admitted to membership in a meeting of a conference by invitation or acceptance by the Chair of that conference, upon application through the Director prior to a deadline date announced annually by the Director and upon payment to the Director of the conference membership fee as provided in the Bylaws. The Director may deny membership for cause, subject to appeal to the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 2. DURATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership of a conference shall be for all or part of one meeting only, but may be reestablished by any means under Section 1 of this Bylaw for any succeeding conference.
SECTION 3. LIMIT OF NUMBER OF MEMBERS
There shall not be more than one hundred and thirty-five (135) members qualified for attendance at any session of any meeting of any conference unless specific exceptions are made by the Director and the respective Chair.
