Article II:
Functions and Objectives

The CONFERENCES shall organize, arrange, and operate professional meetings hereinafter referred to as conferences, each of a limited number of research scientists having common interests in a field of science, for the purpose of scientific discussion, and may also organize, arrange, manage and operate other professional meetings hereinafter referred to as related meetings, each of individuals having common interests in matters relating to the promotion and advancement of the frontiers of science, for the purpose of discussion, all within the intent of Section 501(c) (3) of the 1954 Internal Revenue Code and the advancement thereby of the frontier of science. One of the chief goals of the CONFERENCES is to make possible the simultaneous participation of scientists from academic, government, research foundation and industrial organizations.
